We took this old post-and-beam barn and transformed its interior into a guest cottage for use by our client’s teenage son and his friends. The interior is opened up to light and views of the harbor with carefully placed windows and shed dormers. The dramatic stair, inserted into the vaulted living space, leads up to the sleeping loft. Below the loft are a kitchenette and bath.
