Paneling is used through the entry rotunda, barrel-vaulted hall and into the studio. Dark and sumptuous, its soft gleam provides an elegant counterpoint to the great windowed rooms beyond that open to the expansive views over Central Park. Panel was fabricated in the ebeniste’s shop, shipped to the tower and reassembled on-site.

The apartment is developed as if it were a loggia, an open-air balcony high in a tower.
Materials and finished used throughout are authentic; they include gilt capitals, French-rubbed mahogany paneled rooms, marble floors and hearth surround, silver leaf. The craftsmanship is impeccable.
