We approach the design of the interior mouldings and built-in cabinetry as interior architecture. Each detail, moulding, crown or cabinet is considered as an integral part of the larger whole.
B A S S R I V E R
– H I S T O R I C D I S T R I C T
Set on a bluff on the eastern bank of the Bass River, this house is laid out to take in the expansive views and sunsets afforded by the broad reach of the river.
The lines of the house are inspired by traditional Cape Cod architecture enlivened with whimsical elements borrowed from the shingle-style. All materials and design motifs used are as authentic as possible, consonant with the design guidelines of the South Dennis Historic Commission.
